I think the pictures do the story telling. Great sushi and even better service. They brought out 3 different Sakes to try, we also went with Sushi Omakase at the bar, at the lower table that's a little more private and bigger. Went on a Thursday evening and the setting was ideal, a few other couples but that's it. No loud noises and could carry on my conversation without straining. Spent almost 2.5 hours, great conversation, drank lots of sake and the food was tasty and we could tell, very fresh. This might be my neighborhood 'goto' sushi.

Didn't think it was still possible to find underestimated omakase in the city! At $165 bar eating for 19 courses, it was affordable and worthwhile. Came here for my husband's birthday and left full and happy. Alex the chef and owner is hilarious and so talented. We had a late seating so the bar wasn't crowded and Alex is very personable and friendly. He described every nigiri to us and answered all our questions. The not nigiri dishes were creative and thoughtful, while the Nigiri was traditional. I want to try out their lunch, made with the same ingredients but not omakase. Definitely head to Sushi Hakko for great omakase!

I love this spot! From the vibes, to the food, to the staff, they are all amazing!!! I really enjoyed sitting at the counter and watching the chefs but also getting to interact with them. In terms of the tasting menu, there was a lot of variety and the fish were very fresh and a lot of flavor. If you like to try something new and different, this is the place! However, I wish the sushi were a little bigger but overall it was a great experience and the restaurant is in a great location!

They have lunch menu which is more friendly to the pocket book. But, dinner is special. The ambiance is nice and a good place to bring friends. For the quality of fish, well done vinegar rice on the Nigiri and the unique hot and cold dishes, this place is a gem. Was lucky to find this on Yelp. Best quality and service for sushi. What makes it even better is that it's all made with such thought, care and love. Things do taste different when made with love. Chef Alex and his team are always innovating for compelling dishes, experiences and I really appreciate it. Whenever we have guests from out of town or special occasions, this is always a spot I take everyone to and it has always impressed. So happy they are serving lunch now as well! Lunch by The Roll is a great deal for the serving size, quality and service you get.

I have never had a more delightful dining experience. From the moment I walked in I was charmed by the ambiance as well as the lovely staff. Sitting at the bar watching Alex creating edible art with his knives and graceful hands was a gorgeous performance to witness. Every bite was better than the last. I have been spoiled in an oh-so-wonderful way by my evening spent at Sushi Hakko.

The uni tonight wasn't fresh, caviar tartar was my favorite, but one thing that I have to mention, the service is beyond amazing, with true respect and care ! Wonderful dinner, will always come back

I really enjoyed my experience here. The menu items and food quality were good for the price. I also really appreciated the beautiful presentation of each dish. The service was exceptional. The staff were all so nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. The ambiance was great with dim lighting. We came here for an anniversary celebration and the environment and food did not disappoint!
